Sean Fitzgerald's images have been published in Professional Photographer, Outdoor Photographer, New York Times, Audubon Nature Calendars,Texas Highways, Texas Parks & Wildlife magazines and various other publications. Sean has won the Coastal Bend Wildlife Photo contest twice, won the Grand Prize in the 2003 World in Focus contest and also won the wildlife category in the 2007 World in Focus contest, sponsored by Photo District News magazine. Sean's fine art prints were twice featured on the Bravo Network's television show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." At the 2001 Fotofusion International Photography Festival in Florida, he was chosen by renowned photographer Art Wolfe to receive the festival's Rising Star Photographer Award. Professional Photographer Magazine has featured Sean as its cover artist of the month and Sean was featured in Photo Portfolio Success, a book by Pulitzer Prize winning photographer John Kaplan on putting together winning portfolios. FRIDAY, FEB 26 @ 9am "Bird Photography A to Z" Learn all you need to know about photographing birds. We will cover a range of topics in a "just what you need to know" format including equipment, technique, composition, lighting, locations, blinds, setups, and lots of other tips and tricks specific to bird photography!

SATURDAY, FEB 27 at 9:00am "Composition & Critique" A short introduction on Composition and then the fun begins. Each participant can bring up to 5 images to be critiqued by (1) bringing prints to class; (2)( emailing them before the class to:  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ; or (3) bringing them to the class on a thumbdrive or cd/dvd. Suggested sizing is at least 1024x768 pixels, at 72ppi. Join Sean in a fun, different and very valuable class!

PHOTOGRAPHY FIELD TRIP-  $40 for registrants, $60 for non registrants.
